Upgrade items Uses Emeralds to upgrade equipment up to the appropriate Item Power for the current Hero Level.
Re-roll effects Uses Echo Shards. Re-rolls start at 1 Echo Shard, can rise to a maximum cost of 20, and cannot be undone.
Unlock
Requirement Complete The Missing Note Blocks quest (CA04), including speaking to the Blacksmith. The Blacksmith then appears in Brave Haven.

Enchantsmith

Enchant your items using enchantment books.

Type Merchant

Services
Enchant items Apply collected Enchantment Books using Echo Shards and Enchantment Points. The Enchantment Book is retained and can be used on multiple items.
Disenchant items Removing an enchantment refunds its Enchantment Points and keeps the Enchantment Book.
Upgrade enchantments Higher merchant levels allow enchantments to be upgraded using Echo Shards and Enchantment Points.
Unlock
Requirement Complete Training with the Enchantsmith quest (CA02_C). The Enchantsmith then appears at their station in Brave Haven.

Level 1 Can apply compatible Enchantment Books to items.
Level 2 Costs 30 Echo Shards and unlocks upgrading enchantments to level II.
Level 3 Costs 60 Echo Shards and unlocks upgrading enchantments to level III.

Purchase items Uses Emeralds. The base cost is 20 Emeralds before rarity and discount modifiers.
Stock Stock refreshes every 30 minutes. An immediate refresh costs 3 Echo Shards.
Prices Rare items use a 2x cost multiplier, Special items 3x, and Unique items 4x. Discounts range from 0% to 20% in 5% steps.
Unlock
Requirement Complete The Lost Merchant quest (CA01_B). The merchant then appears at their stall in Brave Haven.
